Garla’s Corn Bread

Cream:

½ cup butter
1/3 cup sugar

Then add:
1 cup flour
1 egg
2 t. baking powder
1 ¼ cup milk
½ t. salt
Mix in 1 cup cornmeal by hand until blended. Pour into 9x9 pan. Bake at 425 for 20 min.
